At Databricks, Ron is Chief Revenue Officer responsible for managing the worldwide sales organization and go-to-market strategy.
He's grown the company from less than $1 million to $1.5+ billion in 7 years and helped raise $3.6 billion. Prior to Databricks, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales for Axway Software. During his leadership there, Ron built and led the sales team from early stage to a successful IPO.
Prior to Axway, Ron was responsible for sales, business development, and marketing for Cyclone, a Trinity Ventures backed company. Ron holds an MBA and Master's in Engineering from Stanford University. He also has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University where he played baseball and was awarded the Big Ten Medal of Honor.
