Nomination Terms and Conditions for the Modern Sales Leader Awards

Eligibility

MSL25, short for Modern Sales Leader, is an annual award recognizing 25 individuals paving the future of the sales profession. Nominated by industry peers, they set the blueprint for innovation, customer connection, and business success.

MSL25 is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • VP+ leader in Sales or Revenue function
  • Nominated by someone other than themselves
  • Nominator must provide an explanation of why this person meets the criteria of a modern sales leader

Nomination Process

  1. Nominations must be submitted through the official nomination form provided on modernsalesleader.com
  2. Nominators must provide accurate and complete information about the nominee, including their name, job title, company, contact information, and a detailed explanation of why the nominee deserves to be recognized.
  3. Nominations must be submitted within the specified nomination period, as indicated on modernsalesleader.com.

Qualifications for Consideration

  1. To be considered for nomination, sales leaders must meet the following qualifications:
    1. VP+ leader in a Sales or Revenue function
    2. Nominated by someone other than themselves
    3. Nominator must provide an explanation of why this person meets the criteria of a modern sales leader.
  2. The MSL25 judging panel reserves the right to verify the qualifications and achievements of nominees through independent research or by contacting the nominator or nominee for further information.

Use of Nomination Data

  1. All nomination data and information provided will be used solely for the purpose of contacting nominees to invite them to participate, and for evaluating and selecting award recipients.
  2. The MSL25 judging panel and its affiliated partners will treat all nomination data with the utmost confidentiality and will not share, sell, or distribute it to any third parties without prior consent except as permitted or required by law.
  3. By submitting a nomination, the nominator represents they have permission from the nominee to provide their information to HubSpot, and the nominee will grant the MSL25 judging panel the right to use the nominee's name, likeness, biographical information, and any materials provided in connection with MSL25 for promotional and marketing purposes.

Selection Process

  1. The selection of award recipients will be made by a panel of 5 judges.
  2. The judging criteria will include, but not be limited to, the nominee's qualifications, achievements, leadership impact, and overall fit with MSL25's purpose and criteria.
  3. The MSL25 judging panel's decisions regarding award recipients will be final and binding.

Award Presentation

  1. MSL25 recipients will be notified by email, publicly announced on the modernsalesleader.com website, and through other promotional channels.
  2. MSL25 recipients may be required to provide additional information, such as a biography, headshot, or participation in interviews or promotional activities related to MSL25.

Modifications and Termination

  1. The MSL25 judging panel reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the awards or any part thereof at any time and for any reason without prior notice.
  2. The MSL25 judging panel also reserves the right to disqualify nominations that do not comply with the terms and conditions or that are deemed inappropriate or fraudulent.

  1. The MSL25 judging panel and its affiliated partners assume no responsibility for any errors, omissions, interruptions, or delays in the nomination process.
  2. By submitting a nomination, the nominator agrees to release and hold harmless the MSL25 judging panel, its sponsors, partners, and HubSpot employees from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of or in connection with MSL25.
